Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

I never had a specific test preparation, it was more about how I motivated myself that day. Sometimes I feel motivated by listening to music, and sometimes I get motivated by silence. Depending on the situation I sometimes concentrate when I am in the library, and sometimes I give my fullest attention when I study in my room. These factors vary all the time. At the end of the day, my biggest motivation is my career and learning information as much as possible to be knowledgeable. I have always believed we are planting seeds so that it would turn into a blossoming flower. Then eventually the blossoming flowers would become our garden. “You reap what you sow”. This has always been my encouragement. As I learned and studied, I felt like I was planting another seed in my garden. My parents always say to me that I should not study for the grade, I should study to learn. I turned that into my drive. When you learn, it is more fun to study and to get a good grade. When you plant as many seeds as possible, the larger your garden gets and the more colorful it is. My goal is to learn valuable and usable information as possible so that the information I learn would support each other. Also, my other goal is to learn as much as I can so that I can apply what I learn and help people. It is also important to study the area that you are interested in. Leaving aside the motivation factor, I also believe that studying a little bit every day and not chunk information in one night helps studying. It actually helps learning. Getting little information every day and going over the notes I have helps me learn. It is important to balance academic life and social life. I also learn the most when I take notes, my visual memory is strong. So, taking notes supports my visual memory, which helps me to remember with the information I learned. There are many ways to study, such as: looking at graphics, taking good notes, solving many examples. These are important ways to study as well, but I believe that on top of all those methods, motivation is the best way to prepare for a test.
