Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

Throughout high school, I've had plenty of time to "perfect" my studying skills. Whether I'm studying for a very important Japanese exam or just need to brush up on my marching band music, I've learned a lot about what works for me.
My go-to method utilizes a dry erase marker and a wipeable object. This can range from a dry erase board to even a mirror or window. As long as you can get the job done, it should work. This works well for me because it allows me to focus on brainstorming in a convenient manner without having to erase every mistake. It also allows me to produce less waste in the long run and aid in muscle memory.
In extension, my other test preparation practice is to talk to myself. I'm sure I'd look completely crazy to everyone if I did this in public but in the safety of my room, I'm able to talk myself through different problems while enforcing various ideas through vocalization.
These two test preparation practices have been my lifesavers throughout high school. If I fail to do these two very simple things, I don't do as well as usual. I hope this may help any other test-takers in the future!
