Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

I have been taking tests my entire life. Surprisingly, they get easier. My ultimate test-taking practice is to assume it's going to be extremely hard to pass. I have found that I do well on tests when I expect it to be difficult. The result is that I study harder, I pay attention in class more, and I even form study groups. In addition to that, study groups have been one of my greatest weapons. Being able to speak out loud, use flashcards, and being able to work through problems with the help and advice of other people always helps me. Sometimes, a study partner would better explain a concept than a teacher would. Finally, I take care of my physical health. People tend to underestimate the value of a good night's rest (without cramming the day before).
