Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

For tests, I usually like to prepare a week or two before. I start off by gathering all my notes that I've taken on the in relation to the topic and make sure they are in some form of chronological order. Once I have them together I study every day for at least an hour. The hour is spent strictly reading over notes until they become second nature of my knowledge. My next step is to physically do some type of work or homework that strictly deals with the topic. After completing the homework, I use the work as a study guide to help me advance my understanding of the subject. When it gets closer to take the test, I cut back on the amount of material I study. Over working my brain can cause me to forget important information. Therefore, I let what I have looked over seep in naturally.
