Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
Finding the perfect test strategy varies from person to person, Some may prefer re-reading the units materials or making a one pager that will provide a crash course of everything they may need on the upcoming test. Me, I find that using flash cards, or similar applications such as Quizlet to be helpful in retaining the information. Flash cards are truly helpful in most situations- memorizing dates, vocabulary words, chemical reaction formulas, or even solving math problems- to name a few examples in which I had to use flash cards to prepare for my tests. Seeing something as simple as '1939-1945' could easily remind me that world war two happened between those dates. Similarly, flipping the card over and seeing 'World War 2' may have me remember that the date would be 1939 through 1945. Anything that I know off the top of my head would be pulled from the stack so that I may focus on the things I do not know. There's no reason to quiz myself over what I know if I should be focusing on what I do not know. Flash cards are truly my method to preparing for any test.
