Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

My name is Vanessa De Avila, and I am currently a medical assistant working at an Urgent Care. I work 10 hours a day shifts and still manage to come home after a long exhausted day to study. The way I prepare for upcoming test is by making a schedule to manage my time. On my days off I plan to study for 3 hours, then take a 30 minute break. I found this way effective to not loose focus. I also like to rewrite my notes and carryout with me everywhere, for example on my lunch break, on my 15 minute break at work. I found effective to study for one subject every three hours and take a break, then I like to come back 30 minutes later and continue reviewing then study for another class. Sometimes it is hard to stay on top of my schedule due to 10 hrs shift, sometimes I do feel lazy and just want to rest, however with dedication and discipline and reminding myself my goal everywhere helps to continue with the schedule.
