Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

My favorite test preparation technique is rather lengthy. When it comes to science exams, cramming is definitely not the way to go if you want a good grade. I start about 5 days in advance by making flashcards. This is helpful to me because it is forcing me to rewrite my notes while making flash cards that I will use to study. I will use those flashcards to help me better understand materials for a day or so. I will then start to write my notes out on a whiteboard. I do this usually for a whole weekend. Rewriting is a great tool that has helped me a lot. About a day or so from the exam I will do any practice exams that are provided to me. IF I am studying for a lab practical or something that needs pictures I will use Quizlet to make my flashcards. This is a great tool because you can import pictures and practice spelling terms that may be helpful on the exam. Using flashcards and rewriting my notes on a whiteboard with different color markers are the two main study techniques that have helped me ace my science classes.
