Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
When I am preparing for an upcoming test, I read all the material given first. I complete all the questions at the end of the chapter(s) and check my answers (if there are any) in the back if the book. I go over chapter quizzes and worksheets and redo them to really integrate the material into my memory. I will make flash cards and study those over and over. Then, I connect with other classmates and participate in a group study to see other students views and test myself and each other. I read the material a second time to make sure I understand everything.
Reading the material ensures I cover everything my professor went over and highlights the important parts in my mind. Flash cards with the questions from the end of the chapter test my memory, while working with other students tests my understanding of the material.
