Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

The best test preparation practices are always going to be flashcards and practice tests. While reading a textbook back to back may be ideal for some people, it's not for me. To be able to have flashcards in front of me where I can test myself just by a flip back and forth helps so much more. Whereas a textbook has too many words of a definition, a card is simplistic and helps stay in my mind when I think of the word I'm defining.
Practice tests, in a way, are similar to flashcards. When you think of taking a practice test you know that these are questions that may be on the real exam. They don't give you a whole lot of explaining but because it's multiple choice, it's also much simpler helping to remember the definitions of all different kinds of disabilities.
These two go hand in hand, and you can't just have one and not the other. I used to make practice tests for myself just based on flashcards, as well as, match the word to the definition. It's a helpful study tool and I always try to go to both of those first, even if I have the textbook I like to look at the cards first and challenge myself, then go into the text and read the content based on it.
