Tell us a little bit about yourself and your plans for college.

I enjoy supporting and helping others. Whether that is helping a classmate with a subject they are having trouble in, cheering on my track & field teammates, or lending a hand to the many community organizations that are near to my heart. I also have a serious passion for learning.
I have always enjoyed learning new things. Many times, the knowledge I would gain during my studies at school just was not enough to satisfy my curiosity. I would conduct my own research at home and further expand my knowledge. I have delved deeper into many subjects over the years, most recently my future field of finance and trading.
When I started thinking about what career path I might enjoy, I remembered a project in my American Cultures class from sophomore year. We had a unit on the stock market, and we traded with fake money. I gained an interest in the stock market and all the intricacies and hidden aspects that make it so interesting. I decided to dive deeper into the subject on my own and before long I had learned an immense amount of knowledge about the trading world. I set up a demo account so that I could practice without any risk, which also gave me the ability to refine my own strategies and learn from every nuance I encounter. I decided to set my goal of becoming a successful trader. My passion for learning, and my interest in the behavior of money as a whole, came together to create a path for my future. Becoming successful in the markets is far from easy, but it a path I will enjoy.
By conducting my research in trading, I ended up learning a lot about finances as a whole. But there is only so much I can learn on my own. That is why I want to attend college to major in Finance.
I cannot wait to continue learning and put my practice to the test. I am excited to expand my knowledge of the financial world, have real experiences in the business field with internships, and surround myself with individuals who have similar passions.
