Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

Finding a test preparation to use was pretty hard for me. I cannot sit down and do a practice quiz I find online or find a review video on what I've learned. I can't think things through if I'm not standing up and pacing all over my house. One day during my senior year of high school, I decided to use it for studying in a way. In a way this would almost be like a scavenger hunt but i'm not given clues to where the next answer might be. On note cards I would write the answers on one side of the note card and on the other side I would write why or how it would be the answer. Then I would shuffle all the cards up and walk around my house placing them down with the answers facing up or why its that answer facing up. I then would walk all around the house with a sheet of vocabulary, terms, math formulas, and descriptions. While I'm looking for the card I need, I first think of what the answer could be and then think how or why that is the answer. While I do that, I pick the cards up and place them in order on the floor to see if I got them correct by the end of it.
This scavenger hunt like game has been working pretty well for me so far. I feel as if there's a hundred things running through my mind when I try to stay put and do one thing. This gets me up and moving all around the house and helps me stay focused on thinking a certain thing over. I also do easily get distracted by my phone, music, seeing the TV on my desk and among other things. With having to move all around the house, I can’t hold my phone while constantly moving from one place to another and it also doesn't give me time to stop and stare at any of the TVs in the house. It's a pretty small thing but it really does help me and has gone a long way in doing it these past two years.
