For many students students preparing for a big exam can be a time full of anxiety and stress. One way I try to eliminate this is by relaxing my body and mind before I do any kind of test preparation. One of the ways i achieve this is by playing video games before I start to study for my exam. I find playing games very relaxing and when finished it puts me in a good state of mind to begin y studies. I find by being relaxed I am able to absorb more information at a significantly easier rate than if my mind were all flustered. Another thing I like to do is listen to music on low volume while I study. Many people don't like the distraction of noise but for me this is another tool I use to relax my body and mind. As long as the volume is not to high and acts more like background noise it gives a relaxing feel to my study session. I feel under these conditions I am able to absorb more information with less effort than if I was feeling stressed out about the exam. Some people may not like either of these methods but if they were to find something that would work for them to make the study session less stressful and reduce anxiety they may find they absorb more information with greater ease than they normally would.
