Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

During times like these where finals are being thrown at you left and right. I understand test-taking skills are key to being able to come out on top. Now, I know I am not the greatest test taker by any means, but that doesn't stop me from trying my hardest for tests.
Some things I do for tests maybe seen as a bit harsh for people who can't sit still for long periods of time. I know this and I know that what I do is also mostly procrastinate, but big but I also know I do my best when I know the date that something is due is close. I know the saying, "diamonds are made under pressure" shouldn't be a go-to thing for me but I know it works. For example, I have a test and a final (both major and both in the same week) only 3 days apart. Any student would almost kill themselves studying to the bone for one or both at the same time. Me on the other hand, I am studying for the test 2 days before and all the time leading up to the test to make sure I know what is important for the test making sure to take hour-long breaks so that I don't stress myself too badly. Then as I am doing now, I take a break for my brain for a day after testing. This helps unwind and mentally prepare for going up against another monster of a test. Now, I am currently studying for the final mentioned above and will continue to study until I feel comfortable about the material to sit down and take the final test of my semester.
Normally my methods work and I get a good grade at the end of the day. Now everyone learns differently so I wouldn't uninclined to turn down anyone if they had better suggestions that work for me.
