Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

The first step I take in order to perform well on tests is taking excellent, understandable notes. This helps me during the actual studying process to make things less confusing and easier to grasp. Next, I always study the night before tests, even finals, and that works for me. It allows me to absorb and retain a lot of information in a short amount of time, and I am able to remember everything I learned from the night before very clearly. If I do a little bit everyday, it gets harder for me to remember the things I studied days before the test. Cramming the day before allows me to have in my mind everything I need. Something else I do to ensure I do well on exams is making sure I know everything before I go into school. I stay up studying, and if I didn’t finish yet, I wake up early to continue. Some people disagree and say that studying the night before is ineffective, but my method of studying has earned me a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career.
