Before I take an important test I like to make sure that I slept enough the night before. I also like to have eaten a healthy breakfast on the day of the test. The week of a big test I try to make sure that I study at least one hour each night. Then at least two hours the night before the test. Another thing I try to do the morning of my test is to get up at least a little earlier than normal and take a long shower, do my hair and make-up to make sure I am feeling my best for the test! I also like to take a little bit of time for myself to relax so I am not too stressed about the test. The more I stress the harder it is for me to focus on a test. Furthermore, I try to remember to take deep breaths before and during the test to stay calm and to not get ahead of myself. This routine works for me as it helps me to be prepared and know that I have done what I can to be ready for the test. By sticking to a routine it also helps me to know that whatever score I may receive on the test I worked to the best of my ability to be ready and that I did the absolute best I was capable of doing.
