You can find them anywhere in our daily lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mometrix.com\/university\/mathcr\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57671 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mometrix.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/imcr20-New.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>What are Perpendicular Lines?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A perpendicular line is a line that meets or crosses another line and forms a right angle.<\/p>\n<p><em>The word \u201cperpendicular\u201d means \u201cat right angles\u201d and this is because when two lines meet, they form right angles.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Perpendicular lines can face in any direction such as up and down, crossways, and side-to-side. They also do not have to be standing straight up from the bottom or side of the page.
