The Wisconsin Foundations of Reading Test is a state-administered exam designed to measure the knowledge and skills of potential educators seeking to teach early childhood through 5th grade reading. These candidates will be measured on their competency with reading and writing development. The test itself contains 100 multiple-choice items, and 2 open response items. These multiple-choice questions are divided into three domains: (I) Foundations or Reading Development, (II) Development of Reading Comprehension, and (III) Reading Assessment and Instruction.
