The NMTA Exam is a required test in order to gain licensure for teaching health classes in the state of New Mexico. Focusing on topics central to health education, the exam lasts about 3 hours and contains 150 multiple-choice questions. This exam costs 95$ to take. The content of the exam is divided into 3 domains: (I) Health throughout the Life Span, (II) Health Promotion and Risk Reduction, and (III) Health Advocacy and Literacy.
