Once your account has been created, you can use it to register for the exam and schedule an exam date.<\/p>\n<p>When you register, you will need to pay the $136 examination fee.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"pt-page\"><span id=\"Test_Day\" class=\"m-toc-anchor\"><\/span>Test Day<\/h2>\n<p>On the day of the exam, you should arrive at the testing center 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Upon arrival, you will be asked to sign in and present one form of valid, government-issued photo ID. If you leave your ID at home or your ID is invalid, you will not be permitted to take the exam that day.<\/p>\n<p>After the check-in process, you will be asked to leave all personal items in a locker outside the testing area. This includes your cell phone, wallet, keys, and bags.<\/p>\n<p>Once you enter the testing room, you will be asked to sign an NDA, and you will be given a brief tutorial on the testing system. Once the tutorial is complete, the exam will begin.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"pt-page\"><span id=\"How_the_TExES_STR_Exam_is_Scored\" class=\"m-toc-anchor\"><\/span>How the TExES STR Exam is Scored<\/h2>\n<p>The TExES Science of Teaching Reading exam is scored on a scale of 100-300.<\/p>\n<p>To pass the exam, your final scaled score must be 240 or higher.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<div
