Study Secrets Online Course<\/a><\/div>\n<\/span>Test Day<\/h2>\nYou should arrive about 30 minutes early to the testing center on exam day, which will leave time for the check-in process to take place. This process involves checking your ID and signing a confidentiality form.<\/p>\n
Once you are checked in, you will be asked to place all personal or prohibited items in a secure locker outside the testing area, and you will be given a piece of scratch paper and two pencils to take notes with during the exam.<\/p>\n
Once you are ready, the proctor will lead you to the testing station and provide a brief introduction to the testing system before the exam begins.<\/p>\n
<\/span>How the Test is Scored<\/h2>\nYour OAT score is established using a scaled scoring system, which takes the number of questions you answered correctly (your raw score) and converts it to a numerical score from 200 to 400. You will receive an unofficial score report before you leave the testing center, and an official score report will be sent to the school of your choice.<\/p>\n
The score you need in order to pass is determined by the school you are applying to.<\/p>\n
<\/span>Retaking the Test<\/h2>\nIf you wish to retake the test, you must wait until 60 days have passed since your original test date. After 60 days, you may submit a new application and pay the full examination fee.<\/p>\n
