The exam fee is $380.<\/p>\n<p>Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, you will be given information about setting up an examination appointment with PSI. You have a 90-day window to schedule and take your exam. If you do not schedule your exam within your testing window or schedule and fail to attend your testing appointment, your exam fee will be forfeited.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"pt-page\"><span id=\"Test_Day\" class=\"m-toc-anchor\"><\/span>Test Day<\/h2>\n<p>On the day of the exam, you should report to the assigned PSI test center 15-30 minutes before the scheduled testing time. If you are participating in a special administration, you are required to check in at the assigned testing room at the time specified on the confirmation notification.<\/p>\n<p>If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the designated testing time, you will not be able to take the exam. If you fail to appear for an exam without providing the required two business days\u2019 notice, your exam fees will be forfeited.<\/p>\n<p>Once you are checked in, you will be asked to leave all personal items in a secure locker outside the testing area. You will then be given a short tutorial of the testing system before officially starting your exam.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"pt-page\"><span id=\"How_the_Exam_is_Scored\" class=\"m-toc-anchor\"><\/span>How the Exam is Scored<\/h2>\n<p>The CFRN exam simply uses your raw score (the actual number of items you answered correctly) in order to measure your performance on the exam. To pass the exam and qualify for certification, you need to answer at least 108 of the 150 scored questions correctly. Correctly answered unscored questions do not count toward this total.<\/p>\n<p>About 60% of candidates who sit for the exam pass, which is a pretty good for a pass rate, but still low enough to show you that preparation is essential to your success on this test.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"pt-page\"><span id=\"Retaking_the_Test\" class=\"m-toc-anchor\"><\/span>Retaking the Test<\/h2>\n<p>If you fail the exam, you may retake it as many times as you want.
