<\/span>NYSTCE ATAS Exam Outline<\/h2>\nThe NYSTCE ATAS (095) exam contains 100 multiple-choice questions, and you will be given 3 hours to complete it.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/span>Registration<\/h2>\nTo register for the exam, you will need to create an NYSTCE account and complete the registration process there. It is recommended that you complete the registration process at least 30 days in advance of taking the exam.<\/p>\n
During this process, you will be asked some questions about your educational history, as well as your current education level, first language, matriculation status, and the education code for the NYC Department of Education program type you are associated with.<\/p>\n
The fee to take the exam is $54.<\/p>\n
<\/span>Test Day<\/h2>\nOn the day of the test, you should arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled exam time.<\/p>\n
When you arrive, you will be asked to provide a valid form of photo ID. If you do not bring proper identification or your ID is deemed invalid, you will not be let into the testing room.<\/p>\n
Before the test begins, you will be asked to place all personal items in a locker outside the testing room, or you may be asked to leave them in your car. Personal items include your phone, calculator, books, notes, bag\/backpack, hat, food, highlighters, and any recording devices.<\/p>\n
Once the test begins, you will be allowed to take breaks. However, the timer will not be stopped during your break, so you must use your break time carefully.<\/p>\n
