What is Professional Obligation?
Professionals like engineers, doctors, religious leaders, and military personnel are introduced to a code of conduct, or sign contracts containing specific conduct upon being hired. Their professional obligation is to adhere to the code of conduct that is specific to their occupation and provided by their employer. The professional obligations of an employee are to be adhered to as they interact with society/public, client/employer, and with colleagues.
