Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.
When I need to study and practice for a test, I pull out my notes, and I rewrite them. By rewriting my notes, the information stays in my brain way better, than just reading my notes over and over again. Another preparation practice that I do is I go back to my homework, and I practice homework problems. By going back, and doing homework problems again and again, allows me to recognize what to do for that problem or question. When I need to study for a test, I need to get out of the house. I go to Starbucks or a cafe to study. By getting out of the house, I don’t have to worry about distractions, and I can focus on my work at hand. Another way that I prepare for a test, is if I need help on a certain lesson, I ask my professor for extra help, or ask my friends if they can help me. When I get extra help from my professor or my friends, I learn more, and I understand the lesson way more than before. Another way that helps me is when my friends need help. When I teach or review a lesson with my friends, I maintain the information way better. If my friends need help, it is a great way not only to help my friends, but to review the information for myself.
