Write an essay where you tell us what test preparation practices work best for you and why.

"Test next week," the board read, in white powdery chalk. I felt my stomach drop. I only had a week to study and prepare for the test. I knew I would have to pull out the flashcards, Quizlet, and my notes. First, I wrote all the important words we went over on the front of the flashcards, while I left the backs blank. I went through and wrote the definition of what I thought the words meant and any important information I knew about them. Later, I overlooked the notes and double checked my definitions. When they were completed, I put them into Quizlet and studied using their test and matching mode. This is done for the next several days, until it is test day. The flashcards were used to help me see what I can remember before checking with the notes. Also, I use Quizlet's test mode to see which ones I do not have down quite yet. The matching mode is used to make it more entertaining while studying, so it is not so boring. By test day, I am prepared to ace it.
